Turn off your Blackberry? Sign off of Facebook? Don't answer your cell? There are so many ways to relax, but so little time to do so.
National Relaxation Month was first created over twenty years ago to promote leisure and wellness activities.
Relaxation has been defined as refreshment of body and mind and having a whole day to celebrate it is a blessing. Relaxation can mean many things to different people; but categorizing what is and isn't relaxing is too stressful. So, RELAX and do whatever it takes to refresh your mind, body and soul.
Here are a few ideas:
- Call a long lost friend, just to say hello.
- Take a leisure walk, enjoy the sights and smells of the outdoors.
- Have a great and healthy meal.
- Have a cool refreshing drink
- Take a nap.
- Watch the clouds and daydream.
- Anything that will put your mind, body and soul at ease.
