Meet my dog, Kasey: he is a therapy dog. He goes to hospitals and nursing homes to visit with the people there. The people are always happy to see him. He sits on their beds while they pet him and the patients talk about their own pets. They always have a smile on their face after he leaves, which of course bring me a lot of joy as well.
I, personally, find it very relaxing to walk Kasey early in the morning at the park. It is serene and calming. It gives me a chance, not only to get my thoughts together before the day starts, but gives me that quiet time to think through any problems I might be experiencing. Sometimes, I even ask Kasey what he thinks about a certain issue…although he never answers me, it is good to know he is interested and listening!
