Organize All Materials for Your Classes in One Place
There is nothing worse than the night before the test and not being able to find where you put your notes. Keeping everything together for school will help you keep focused when you need to start studying for a test or begin writing a paper.
Use a Planner
Write all your tests, quizzes, midterms and obligations in this planner. Even go as far as to organize your day by the hour if needed. Keeping tasks and obligations on track will help you succeed for the entire semester.
To Do Lists
To-do lists will save you! Have a space in your planner to keep a running list of what you need to do. Nothing is too small on this list; if you need to do it, write it down. As you get through the list, cross it off. This will give you a feeling of accomplishment and keep you on track to completing everything you need to.
Don’t Procrastinate
Watching a movie on TV with a group of friends is obviously a better time than writing a 5-page paper, but pushing off assignments and studying will sneak up on you. Don’t procrastinate. You’ll regret it, end up messing up and before you know it, you have stressed yourself out.
